We offer two options:

A)
Italian language course at LINGUA in the morning, from Monday to Friday;   + sailing course or excursions with one of our teachers on a sailing boat to the island of Elba organised by SUDOVEST on Saturday (one day) or in the weekend (two days).
You will have the opportunity  to learn Italian at LINGUA and to sail in the Tuscan Archipelago.
Minimum numbers of participants: 5, maximum number of participants: 8.

B)
For groups of at least 4 students enrolled together we organise the program
VELA&LINGUA - one week: italian and sailing course  from Sunday evening to Friday in the afternoon
in co-operation with the sailing schools SUDOVEST and GATTICORSARI.
Italian language course with a teacher and sailing practice with a skipper sailing from San Vincenzo or Baratti to the island of Elba and the islands of the Tuscan Archipelago: a unique opportunity for a full immersion into the Italian language and the Tuscan Sea.

Sailing practice with the skipper from San Vincenzo to the island of Elba and back.
Cost: 140 Euros. This price includes: boat rental with the skipper, Italian lessons, food, fuel, transfer from Castagneto Carducci to San Vincenzo and back.
Program: meeting at 09:00 in the San Vincenzo; breakfast on board; sailing in the morning to the island of Elba;
Italian lessons; stop in a cove; lunch on board; stop on a beach; sailing back to San Vincenzo late
in the afternoon and arrival in San Vincenzo at 18:00.

A)

VELA&LINGUA week-end: from Friday evening to Sunday afternoon. 
Sailing practice with the skipper from San Vincenzo to the coves and beaches of the island of Elba. 

Program: meeting at 20:00 on Friday at San Vincenzo; sailing in the evening to Marciana Marina (island of Elba) .
On Saturday morning breakfast on board and sailing along the coast of the island with Italian lessons; lunch on board. On Saturday afternoon stop in a cove for a swim or excursion; in the evening dinner in a restaurant.
On Sunday morning breakfast and then sailing with Italian lessons; lunch on board. Early in the afternoon on Sunday stop in a cove or a beach then sailing back to San Vincenzo by 18:00. According to the weather conditions it is possible to sail around the entire island. The skipper is always available to teach the basics of sailing as well as the sailor's vocabulary  with the help of the teacher.    

       
Cost: 340 Euros. From October to May we offer a discount of 15% on this price.
The price includes: boat rental with the skipper, Insurance RC + Casco, Italian lessons, food (for breakfast and one meal on board), fuel, transfer from Castagneto Carducci to San Vincenzo and back.
Usually the night stop is at anchor on a safe cove. A motor dinghy is available to go on land.
It is not included in the price:  the cost of evening dinner and the cost of mooring in a port (if any) to be shared among
the participants.

B)

VELA&LINGUA: sailing and Italian language course from Sunday evening to Friday in the afternoon.
         
Italian language course with the teacher and sailing practice with the skipper from San Vincenzo or Baratti on the northern Thirrenyan Sea along the coasts of the islands of Elba and Capraia.

Program: meeting at 20:00 on Sunday at San Vincenzo or Baratti; sailing in the evening to Marciana Marina (Elba).
According to weather conditions from Monday to Thursday sailing around the coasts of the island of Elba or sailing to Capraia (another fascinating island of the Tuscan Archipelago) and then back southward to Elba.
Usually Italian lessons are held when sailing in the morning; in the afternoon stops on the beaches  with excursions to the interesting places of the islands.
On board the skipper is always available to teach the basics of sailing as well as the sailor's vocabulary  with the help of the teacher.
On Friday morning we will sail back to San Vincenzo or Baratti (expected arrival by 14:00).
       

Cost: 780 Euros in the period from May to October; 680 Euros in the period from November to April.
These prices include: boat rental with the skipper, Insurance RC + Casco, Italian lessons, food (for breakfast and one meal on board), fuel, transfer from Castagneto Carducci to San Vincenzo or Baratti and back.
Usually the night stop is at anchor on a safe cove. A motor dinghy is available to go on land.

To enrol: send your details (please specify your level of competence in Italian) and the payment of a deposit
of 200 Euros according to the options as described in the enrolment procedure on a language course at LINGUA.
The rest of the cost will be paid directly to SUDOVEST or GATTICORSARI before getting on board. 
       
       
Courses are held in the modern monohull sailing boats of the sailing school SUDOVEST or in the catamaran of the sailing school GATTICORSARI which are regularly checked. Equipments: autopilot, gps + nautical charts, water and gas, electric stove in Winter.
On each boat a motor dinghy is available to go on land during the stops at anchor.
